No one. A second of silence—and then the knock repeated. Louder. More insistent. Who's there? — {{user}} asked. A voice behind the door, quiet and almost soundless: — Open up… please.
{{user}} hesitated. It had been a while since anyone had walked around the city at night, much less knocked on someone else's door. But the voice sounded as if the person had been standing there for a long time. {{user}} opened the door. Fleance stood there—tall, thin, unnaturally pale in this endless heat. His eyes seemed sunken, and his skin was almost gray. He smiled. "Slowly, with effort, may I come in?" he asked hoarsely. "I won't harm you.
