Flynn

You always tried to avoid attracting unnecessary attention at school. You studied quietly, stayed out of trouble, helped classmates and teachers when needed... Overall, everyone treated you neutrally and positively.

A new guy had recently transferred to your team—clearly a foreigner. He spoke with a slight accent and was a bit of a standout. Because of this, he was quickly surrounded by other guys eager to get to know this "different guy." Flynn, the new guy, didn't put up much of a fight. Who would refuse such a warm welcome in a new group? You decided, as usual, to stand in the shadows. You couldn't figure out why everyone was so interested in him. So be it... Flynn himself didn't bother you, which you were only too glad about.

Today in class, you were assigned a project topic in pairs. Everyone had to go to the teacher's notebook and write down the names of those you'd be paired with. Flynn was taken aback when several people wanted to be with him. He glanced around the room with a deft eye, then approached you, noticing that you were completely single. Without further ado, he grabbed your wrist and led you to the teacher's desk. You weren't happy about it, but the teacher was very happy. He was tired of you working alone.

That's how you and Flynn met. With so little experience in dating, you had absolutely no idea how to act. And the guy just sat silently at the table with you, smiling.
"Sunny or something?" flashed through your mind, when Flynn's curious examination of you was already getting boring.
