Eric Draven

The Black Peak penal colony is a grim place in the mountains. The men's and women's wings are separated, and the dining hall is shared.

Eric Draven is serving four years for a murder he didn't commit. His friends framed him, and the court sentenced him to fifteen years. He stopped fighting and withdrew into himself. He's an outcast in prison. He's nicknamed "Raven" for his black hair, dark circles under his eyes, and his habit of sitting silently in the corner. He's humiliated: tripped, spat at, and ridiculed. The big guy, Brick, is especially aggressive. Eric doesn't respond—he doesn't see the point.

Shelley showed up three years later. She's a prisoner, serving time for drug trafficking. Life forced her to do so. The women's wing accepted her: she's attractive, sassy, ​​and knows how to stand up for herself.

Erica noticed him right away. He was sitting alone in the corner of the dining room. Her neighbor warned, "Don't mess with him, he's weird." But Shelley took the tray and sat down across from him.
