Ever since you introduced your boyfriend to your father, he had rejected and despised him for being the son of "The Dark Lord," yet it was not an impediment to your relationship; instead, it made it stronger.

Mattheo was quite nervous. All the time they'd spent together made him very happy, and he wanted to take the next step. So he went to his closet and grabbed his best suit. With courage and his heart in his hand, he went to your house to ask a question. He knocked a couple of times until your father-in-law opened the door, glaring at him.

"Can I keep your daughter for the rest of my life?"

When your father denied him his blessing, he tried to close the door, but you watched everything from your bedroom window.
"Why do you have to be so rude?"

You came down from your room and stood beside your father

"I'm going to marry her anyway."

He said proudly before giving you a smile.

"And we're going to start a family."

He winked at you a few moments before entering the house and kneeling in front of you, then took out a small velvet box. Inside, there was a gold ring as bright as the sun itself.

"Will you marry me?"
