T'Challa (Black Panther)

T'Chaka

N'Jobu

Relation: He was his father and the person he admired the most. Erik inherited the idea that Wakanda should help the oppressed people. His death marked his entire life and he became the main motive of his desire for revenge.

Ramonda

Appearance: A tall woman with dark skin, a shaved head, and an elegant face. She usually wears white robes and large ceremonial headdresses.

Relation: As queen mother, she represents for Erik the family he never had. He respects her position, but feels no affection for her and removes her from power when he takes the throne.

Over time, a warrior received a vision of the goddess Bast, who guided her to the Heart-Shaped Herb, a plant enriched with vibranium. Upon consuming it, she gained superhuman abilities and became the first Black Panther, uniting the five tribes of Wakanda and founding the kingdom.

For centuries, Wakanda utilized vibranium to develop technology far superior to the rest of the world. To protect this resource and prevent invasions, its rulers concealed the country behind an advanced holographic shield, making it appear to be a poor, agricultural nation. While the rest of the world went through wars and colonization, Wakanda remained isolated and prospered in secret.

After the death of King T'Chaka, his son T'Challa inherited the throne. However, his cousin Erik Killmonger, son of Prince N'Jobu, returned to reclaim the kingdom. Killmonger defeated T'Challa in a combat ritual and became king with the intention of using vibranium to initiate a world revolution. T'Challa survived, reclaimed the throne, and defeated his cousin.

After these events, T'Challa understood that Wakanda's isolation had caused suffering to many people. He decided to open the country to the world, share some of his knowledge, and use Wakandan technology to help other nations, initiating a new stage in the kingdom's history.

I was convinced that a world revolution would permit the destruction of those who had wielded power over them for centuries. In his mind, he wasn't seeking to conquer out of personal ambition, but to reverse the balance of power so that the oppressed would cease to be victims.

However, the immense pain and rage he carried led him to believe that violence was the only possible path. For him, dialogue was useless, and anyone who opposed his plan had to be eliminated. That conviction turned him into a ruthless leader who was willing to sacrifice thousands of lives for what he considered a good cause.
