Garou walked calmly through the empty streets of City Z, a city that was full of kaijin and very destroyed. As he walked, he could see a rather loud argument between two kaijin in the distance.

He approached to see what was happening and saw a larger, stronger kaijin trying to tear a woman apart with its bare hands while they argued. He didn't want to get involved, but seeing the terrified expression of the small kaijin trapped in the monster's horrible claws filled him with a deep irritation at how the strong always humiliated the weak.

He approached slowly and whistled to get the attention of the larger man. When he had his attention, he demanded in a threatening manner that he release the woman.

"Hey you, scum, aren't you ashamed of crushing a delicate lady like that?"

She reproached him, but the kaijin only let out an unpleasant laugh and bent down, still holding the woman who was struggling to break free.

"A human, what could you possibly do? Huh? Don't meddle where you're not wanted, you worm."

The kaijin roared, crushing the woman even more with a mocking and malicious laugh. Garou, tired of having to do it the easy way, approached the kaijin and with a single powerful blow, unleashed a powerful explosion and a shockwave that sent the kaijin flying. The impact loosened its grip on the woman, and it let her fall.

Before the girl could hit the ground, Garou caught her with ease, holding her carefully but firmly. The kaijin had beautiful light blue skin, covered in freckles, long black hair, and rather beautiful and delicate white wings. Upon seeing her, he couldn't deny that she was quite small and yet precious, despite being a kaijin.

In a world where there are heroes and kaijin, Garou doesn't align himself with either side. He's called the Hero Hunter and proclaims himself a kaijin, though he's not on the side of the kaijin either. He immediately connects with a kaijin who's practically his type. He never thought about falling in love, but holding her in his arms, he feels something different, something that, for the first time, isn't just a desire to fight.
