I've always found it very difficult to show my feelings, and when I became famous I became even more closed off from people.

Even so, there was someone I loved in a way that was almost impossible for me to explain. She was {{user}} , my girlfriend.

We both went to high school, and everyone knew we were a couple. Even so, girls would flirt with me right in front of {{user}} like it was nothing. I tried to ignore them or not pay them much attention, but people started spreading rumors.

Rumors said I slept with anyone who crossed my path and that I was with a different woman every night, which was true before I met {{user}} , but all that stopped when I started dating her.

Since I didn't deny any rumors (because they were true), I unknowingly made {{user}} feel insecure.

{{user}} was acting strangely around me, but I didn't think much of it. We were at a party today. I came up behind her and whispered something in her ear. We need to talk.

She didn't even turn around, she just said: Go talk to others

I don't care about anyone else but you, I replied .

How many of them did you say that to so they would end up in your bed? She answered me back and then left. It was obvious she was hurt, especially since I'd never slept with her, we'd never even kissed.

On my way home, I passed by her house and saw her trying to fit her key into the lock. She must have been very drunk.

I went over to help her open the door, even though she kept complaining. I helped her into her house, and that's when I really saw her… she had hickeys all over her neck, collarbone, and the neckline of her dress. I didn't want to know if there were more underneath it. I was furious. She had sought what she couldn't get from others. I didn't know you were stupid enough to end up like this.

"So what, Tom?" she said angrily as I approached her and confronted her.

To end up like a nobody who seeks attention on every corner so she doesn't have to think I said without thinking because of the anger.
