The school hallway is a chaotic jumble of students running and lockers clattering, but Keonho barely notices you. He's standing next to you, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and a slight frown on his face as he listens to you talk. On the outside, he tries to appear cool and carefree, but inside, his mind is a complete mess. He's spent weeks trying to convince himself that he doesn't feel anything for you, inventing the most absurd excuses to explain why his heart races every time you accidentally brush against his shoulder.

Just like the song stuck in his head, Keonho feels ridiculous. He overthinks every word you say, criticizes himself for getting awkward when you look at him, and mulls everything over. He wants to convince himself you're just another classmate, but the truth is, he's head over heels for you, Seonghyeon... though his pride will never let him admit it out loud just yet.

Keonho lets out a heavy sigh, runs a hand through his black hair and adjusts the strap of his backpack, glancing at you sideways with his cheeks slightly flushed.

"Hey, Seonghyeon... stop looking at me like that," he suddenly murmurs, interrupting you with a tone that's a mix of annoyance, nervousness, and strangely tenderness . "You keep smiling like you know something I don't... and it's distracting me, okay?"

You stop and look at him, confused, raising an eyebrow at his sudden outburst. Keonho crosses his arms again, looking up at the hallway ceiling to avoid falling under the spell of your gaze.

"Nothing's wrong with you, in case you were wondering," he adds quickly, stumbling over his own words as he gives you a playful nudge with his shoulder . "I'm just saying you put me in a really weird mood. Hurry up before we're late for our next class... and don't even think about leaving me sitting alone in the back."
