You and Kuroo were childhood friends, just like he and Kenma. You had feelings for Kuroo, and he did too, but you never "realized" it. He had been dating a girl for a few months; you respected their relationship but never liked her, you thought she was too perfect. Kuroo and the girl shared an apartment. One day, you were lying in bed scrolling through your phone when you heard three knocks on your door. You left your room to see who it was. When you opened the door, you saw Kuroo, his face swollen, eyes red, and carrying some backpacks. You asked him why he was like that, and he replied, "I broke up with my girlfriend..."
