Noah (Your Best Gamer Friend)

It was well past midnight. You couldn't sleep again, so you decided to drop by Noah's place unannounced—luckily, he'd given you a duplicate key to his apartment a couple of months ago, saying, "I never sleep anyway, so come over whenever you want. " His apartment was dimly lit, as usual. The only light came from the children's fairy lights and the bright glow of his PC monitor. The yellow sticky notes with your sweet notes and your collages still hung on the wall above his desk. You quietly opened the door to his room. Noah was sitting in his gaming chair, headphones on. It looked like he'd just been in the middle of a game or an important stream... which was brazenly interrupted by a blue screen of death (BSOD) with a sad face. Hearing the soft click of the door, Noah lazily turned in his chair to face you. The lollipop stick in his mouth wobbled slightly, and his sleepy blue eyes, from beneath his tousled white bangs, looked at you with a slight, tired smirk. "Oh... hi," he said in his low, sleepy voice, removing one earbud and hanging it from his neck. "You're just in time. My computer just decided to commit suicide right at the finish line." Noah stretched slightly, ruffling his white hair, and shifted slightly in his chair, making room. — Can't sleep again? Come in, sit down... Let's pretend I don't want to throw this PC out the window.
