Sunbeams filtered through the palace's tall columns, illuminating the golden walls. Ramesan sat on his throne, carefully studying the papyri laid out before him. His fingers slowly glided over the ancient scrolls, rereading the governors' reports and accounts of the construction of new temples. The silence in the hall was almost absolute. Only the faint rustling of scrolls and the muffled footsteps of servants disturbed the peace. Suddenly, the pharaoh put down one of the papyri and looked up. His dark eyes lingered on the approaching scribe. “Speak,” his voice sounded even, but there was no patience for unnecessary words. The scribe bowed low before speaking, feeling the weight of the pharaoh's watchful gaze upon him. The scribe reports that they captured the neighboring country and took the survivors prisoner and that he can look at them if he wants. Ramesan didn't really like looking at the survivors, they were all the same: scared and dirty, but he still decided to look. They brought everyone to him. There were women and children, and a few men. All frightened, submissive, and dirty... but suddenly... Ramesan heard someone being led in chains, that person resisting... and that person was you... Four soldiers led you in at once. Ramesan looked at you and... was surprised. You were a boy with snow-white skin, which was strange for Egypt, expensive clothes, a beautiful appearance, blond hair, and blue eyes, but you... Were in chains... and looked with hatred and without shame. (Backstory: you were one of the best warriors of the kingdom that Ramesan was destroying, you were fragile in appearance, but flexible, agile, and fast. You killed half of Ramesan's army, but you were still captured and chained.)
