Kyoya Ootori (鳳鏡夜Ōtori Kyōya) is a second-year student at Ouran Academy and the vice president of the Ouran Host Club, a club he co-founded with his best friend, Tamaki Suoh, a shrewd and calculating businessman. Although Tamaki is the president, Kyoya is the true director, pulling the strings behind the scenes, which has earned him the nickname "The Shadow King." As the third son of the wealthy and noble Ootori family, he believes he must surpass his two older brothers if he wants to please his father. He strives to meet his strict father's high expectations and be considered the next patriarch of the family, however unlikely that may seem. In the anime, and under the influence of his friendship with Tamaki, his youthful, superficial, and brash attitude transforms, and Kyoya becomes a rational and humanistic individual. Her obsession with patriarchy has practically disappeared and, paradoxically, this is what pleases her father the most.

Appearance Kyoya has short, neatly styled black hair and grayish-brown eyes. He is tall and slender, and wears thin, rimless glasses that glint when he's plotting something, acting cocky or funny, angry, or secretly scared—though this trait isn't limited to these emotions. He also has a habit of pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose or adjusting them in some way when he's trying to clarify an idea.

Like the other hosts, he prefers designer clothes, with a style that leans toward a modern classic look sprinkled with trendy pieces. He is always impeccably groomed, dressed appropriately for any occasion, and is naturally elegant and neat, though he appears disheveled and unkempt upon waking in episode 17, "Kyoya's Reluctant Day!", when he is forced to join the other club members on a shopping mall tour.

In Host Club, Kyoya's rose color is lavender. In Japanese culture, this symbolizes privilege and wealth, qualities Kyoya possesses. In Western culture, the purple rose is a symbol of charm and love at first sight. As the typical "cool" guy, Kyoya is extremely charming, and it's worth noting that Renge Houshakuji falls in love with his photograph even before meeting him in person.

Personality Kyoya's keen business acumen allows him to handle all the financial and planning aspects of the Host Club, from budget management to merchandise sales to maintain the club's solvency, all while continuing to fund Tamaki Suoh's extravagant schemes. His customer service is confident and charming, and he's often described as the "cool" type. He uses his hosting skills to entertain guests while simultaneously generating income for the club through events, online auctions of personal items, fanzines, and doujinshi. As a complete opposite to Tamaki, even in appearance, he often notices things that Tamaki or others are too naive to grasp, keeping the information to himself for his own amusement or to observe how events unfold and determine the best way to assist the other members. He is the "mom" to Tamaki's "dad" in the club, though in the anime he avoids the title in relation to Haruhi Fujioka; while in the manga, he sometimes uses the title to his advantage.

kyouya Kyoya is a calm and logical boy with superior intelligence. He can also seem somewhat aloof and, at times, threatening when necessary. He is a diligent secretary for the club and keeps a constant record of the guests and their fate using his netbook, tablet, or laptop. He is very fond of his best friend, Tamaki Suoh, and gives him complete freedom to implement his ideas for the club. He gets along well with Haruhi Fujioka, and they often chat, as they are both level-headed, similarly intelligent, and not very emotional.

He belongs to the wealthy and influential Ootori family, owners of a healthcare conglomerate. His family enjoys great prestige in their sector and boasts a private police force called the Black Onion Squad. Although he possesses the same aptitude to become the patriarch of the Ootori family, he feels overshadowed by his two older brothers, who are far more likely to inherit the family leadership than he is. However, despite the circumstances, he is confident in his own abilities and considers the situation more of an interesting game than an obstacle.

He prefers to sleep in, often because work and studies keep him up until the early hours of the morning. He also suffers from hypotension, which makes it difficult for him to get up. In "Kyoya's Reluctant Day Off!", he scolds the other hosts for waking him up because he didn't fall asleep himself until 5 a.m. His friends call him "Lord of Hypotension" because of the murderous aura he gives off whenever he's woken up loudly or too early, and because of his generally grumpy mornings.

He is very polite to people in positions of power or those connected to them, and claims to only help those who can benefit him in some way. Haruhi discovers this isn't true when they spend time together at a shopping mall. There, Kyoya prevents a woman from being scammed and tells Haruhi he did so because he knew she was the wife of a client of the family business thanks to a ring she was wearing. Haruhi questions how he could have seen the ring and chides him, saying that Kyoya is very much like Tamaki: a good person who helps others selflessly, but different in that he prefers to maintain a facade of indifference.

Kyoya is the youngest of the Ootori brothers and the third son of Yoshio Ootori, the patriarch of the wealthy Ootori family. Although he is neither the heir to the throne nor next in line to the family succession, he has commented that trying to become heir is "an exciting game" and that he plans to surpass his brothers when the time comes. The Ootori family is well-known in the healthcare sector, which operates under the zaibatsu management model.

Historical note: This form of business management has fallen into disuse in modern Japan, having been replaced by what is known as keiretsu, or subsidiary management, which unifies related companies without a single family or individual exercising absolute control. An example of a zaibatsu that later became a keiretsu is the Mitsubishi Group.

René Tamaki Richard de Grantaine Suoh (ルネ・環・リシャール・ド・グランテーヌRune Tamaki Rishāru do Gurantēnu), also known as Tamaki Suoh (須王 環Suō Tamaki), is the deuteragonist of the Ouran High School Host Club series. He is the illegitimate son of Yuzuru Suoh (chairman of Ouran Academy) and president of the Ouran Host Club, and is in Class 2-A, the same class as Kyoya Ootori (Tamaki's best friend and co-founder of the Host Club).

Being of mixed Japanese and French heritage (his father is Japanese and his mother is French), Tamaki has pale blond hair inherited from his mother. In the manga, it's mentioned that it's slightly brown. In the anime, his eye color is violet, but in the manga, it's blue. He is tall and slender. When not at school, he prefers to wear high-fashion clothing. His attractiveness and charm often allow him to win others over, and he is known by the other members of his club as Tono (i.e., King/Boss), with a 70% request rate from female guests. He enjoys cosplay and often practices it with the club. He is able to cry without using eye drops (which he claims is the mark of a true Host), and his appearance is often compared to that of the Black Magic Club president, Umehito Nekozawa, whose natural features also include blond hair and blue eyes.

White rose In Host Club, Tamaki's rose is white. In Japanese culture, this symbolizes innocence, which is reflected in Tamaki's overall naiveté. In Western culture, the white rose symbolizes happiness in love. This is ironic, since, while he sincerely strives to bring happiness to his female clients in their romantic relationships, he himself is unable to acknowledge his love for Haruhi Fujioka until almost the end of the manga, and only superficially in the final episode.

Personality Tamaki is recognized as the co-founder and president of the Host Club. While his appearance might be described as flamboyant, self-centered, and dramatic, he is actually a young man dedicated to his studies, his friends, and his duties as a host. He is considered a man of refined manners, entertaining his female clients with upper-class charm and blatant flattery. He considers the club his family, with himself as the father, Kyoya Ootori as the mother, Haruhi Fujioka as the daughter, Hikaru Hitachiin and Kaoru Hitachiin as the children, and Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka and Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka as the neighbors.

Adorable As the series' main comic relief, Tamaki is portrayed as outspoken and naive for his age. Throughout the anime and manga, his facial expressions are the most exaggerated. While he generally celebrates romance, he remains largely oblivious to his own romantic feelings for Haruhi, which the other hosts are fully aware of. Of all the hosts, Tamaki's persona as a host differs most from his true personality, as he is elegant and charming as a host, but often clumsy and attention-seeking outside of that setting. However, his desire to please the Host Club's guests is genuine, to the point that he denies his feelings for Haruhi to himself and everyone else in order to keep the Host Club running.

Despite his childish demeanor, he is very intelligent, easily ranking second in Class 2-A, a position held by his best friend and co-founder of the Host Club, Kyoya. He is also shown to not put much effort into his studies (for example, watching television in the middle of the night before an exam), suggesting that his good academic performance might not be due to effort, but rather to superior intelligence. While there are times when he demonstrates brilliant ideas that surprise many, he remains a joker and flirt most of the time. Deep down, he is a generous and kind person. Two examples of his kindness are when he helped a man find his daughter and when he comforted Haruhi upon discovering her fear of storms.

Tamaki was born under the zodiac sign of Aries, the Ram. The positive traits of this sign are adventurous spirit, courage, versatility, vitality, and passion; the negative traits are arrogance, stubbornness, impulsiveness, lack of discipline, a tendency towards confrontation, and a tendency to abandon projects halfway through.

Family The Suoh family Tamaki is the only child of Yuzuru Suoh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ouran Academy, and Anne-Sophie de Grantaine, a kind-hearted French woman with whom Yuzuru falls in love during a business trip to Paris. Tamaki grows up in France, living with his mother at the Grantaine mansion, where he is known as René. Yuzuru visits him frequently, bringing him Japanese books and DVDs to help him learn the language. Due to Tamaki's illegitimacy, Shizue Suoh, the matriarch of the Suoh family, arranges for René to live in Japan, at the second mansion, offering Anne-Sophie financial security and medical care in exchange for custody of the boy, who is then fourteen years old and known in Japan as Tamaki.

Yuzuru Suoh The president arrives Yuzuru is the patriarch of the Suoh family and Tamaki's father. However, his power is limited by the iron grip his mother exerts over the Suoh estate. Despite his position as chairman, Yuzuru is powerless to help his son reconcile with the stern old woman. Notably, Tamaki's father only disobeyed his mother once, when he ended their marriage because she had chosen his wife to marry Tamaki's mother. Later, in volume 9 of the manga, it is revealed that Yuzuru knows Anne-Sophie's whereabouts after her "disappearance," but he keeps it a secret to give Shizue time to reconcile with her grandson. At the end of both the anime and the manga, it is shown that he wants his son to marry Haruhi, against Yoshio Ootori's wishes for her to become Kyoya's wife.

Although Tamaki inherited his looks from his mother, his charming personality is much like his father's. However, in his father's presence, Tamaki is quite serious, though the reverse is not true. In fact, in the manga, Yuzuru is shown to tease his son whenever he has the chance. Some examples of this in the manga include sending him false clues in the middle of an investigation and telling him exaggerated stories about ninjas.

Anne-Sophie is Tamaki's mother, who voluntarily separates from her son and her beloved Yuzuru, and resides in France. She meets Yuzuru during a business trip to Paris, falls in love with him, and they have a son. However, upon Tamaki's birth, Shizue Suoh forbids her and her son from returning to Japan with Yuzuru. Instead, Anne-Sophie raises Tamaki in France until he turns fourteen, at which point Tamaki's grandmother offers her financial security in exchange for granting her custody and visitation rights.

Anne-Sophie accepts this offer because she is ill and fears for her son's future, and goes into hiding after Tamaki's departure. In the manga, during a sophomore school trip to France, Kyoya finds her and discovers that she is in good health and thinks about her son daily. Anne-Sophie suffers from lupus erythematosus [2]. Finally, mother and son are reunited in Japan, and the Suoh family is shown to form a friendship with Ryouji "Ranka" Fujioka in the manga.

Shizue Suoh Make peace Shizue is the matriarch of the Suoh family and controls all their possessions, including their personal finances; she is also Tamaki's grandmother and Yuzuru's mother. Widowed at a young age, she forces Yuzuru into an arranged marriage and makes him the patriarch of the Suoh family (in name only) to strengthen the family's position in both social and business circles. While her personality before this is unknown, subsequent events seem to have made her bitter and spiteful, and one of the few people Honey detests. It's no secret that she resents Anne-Sophie and Tamaki, often calling her grandson a "dirty boy" and refusing to acknowledge him or his mother. Furthermore, he is forced to live at the second property, as Shizue doesn't want an illegitimate child in the same house as her. However, due to Tamaki's kindness and his sincere desire to befriend and be close to his grandmother, Shizue's heart softens, and she comes to love and accept the boy. Over time, Shizue also comes to accept Tamaki's mother because of the generosity he has shown despite the hardships. In the manga, thanks to the intervention and mediation of Haruhi and her friends, Shizue reconciles with Anne-Sophie and Tamaki, even going so far as to ask Tamaki to apologize to Anne-Sophie on her behalf and insisting that he say goodbye to his mother. Shizue remarks that she finds Haruhi an interesting girl and supports Tamaki's decision to marry her.

Takashi Morinozuka (also known as Mori, 銛之塚崇, Morinozuka Takashi) is a third-year student at Ouran Academy and the second oldest member of the Ouran Host Club. As a host, he is considered the "wild" type in the manga and the "strong and silent" type in the anime. He is rarely seen without his cousin and best friend, Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka, who is often perched on his shoulders. Historically, the Morinozuka family had served the Haninozuka family for many generations before marriage united the families, thus breaking the master-servant tradition. Despite this, Mori continues to faithfully care for Honey and attend to her wishes. He is a national kendo champion and a skilled karate practitioner. His stoic and sometimes intimidating demeanor masks the fact that he has a peculiar connection with animals, as seen in the manga when he adopts a stray tanuki and cares for a chick, and where his "fetish for small things" (Honey, Haruhi Fujioka, etc.) is also joked about.

Personality In the anime and for most of the manga, Mori only speaks when necessary, as his intelligence and perceptiveness allow him to perceive far more than many around him realize. This makes him a wise advisor to those who seek his counsel or unconsciously need it. In the manga, he speaks frequently, possibly due to the greater distance between him and his best friend and cousin, Honey. His protective nature extends not only to Honey but also to his friends and classmates. He is highly respected and loved by all who know him; however, when tired, he can become talkative and somewhat flirtatious, which surprises those unaccustomed to this side of him. Mori is very loyal and generous, especially to Honey and their hostess, Haruhi. This is demonstrated by his willingness to help them with anything they need without hesitation and without appearing submissive or insecure.

In episode 22 of the anime, titled "Mori-Senpai Has a Protégé," Ritsu Kasanoda, a first-year student and third-generation heir to the Kasanoda family (a yakuza gang), seeks Mori's advice on making friends, as he seems to have many despite his intimidating appearance. In chapter 51 of the manga, Hikaru Hitachiin is shown spending the night at Mori's house. There, Mori is quite direct in addressing Hikaru's problems.

Mori was born under the zodiac sign of Taurus. The positive traits of this sign are generosity, reliability, simplicity, patience, independence, and perseverance; while the negative traits are stubbornness, indolence, materialism, possessiveness, and frugality. Appearance Morimanga Mori is an imposing figure, accentuated by his wild appearance. He is tall and robust, with spiky black hair, dark gray eyes, and a darker skin tone than the other Hosts. He is usually seen wearing the typical Ouran Academy blazer unbuttoned, and is rarely seen without Honey walking by his side or perched on his shoulders.

Mori's rose in The Host Club is dark blue. In Japanese culture, blue symbolizes loyalty; Mori demonstrates this quality with Honey, her studies, and the Host Club. In Western culture, a truly blue rose doesn't exist naturally; however, in art, it symbolizes the achievement of the impossible, with a secondary meaning of prosperity. The "unattainable" thing for Mori is Haruhi (though she's never directly mentioned), and a bonus scene reveals that she does indeed live a prosperous life and continues to do so in the future.

Relations Haruhi Fujioka Under the table It's hinted that Mori has feelings for Haruhi, but this is never fully explored, unlike her relationships with Kaoru Hitachiin and Hikaru Hitachiin. However, there are several occasions where his potential feelings are apparent. In episode 1, "From Today On, You're a Host!", when Haruhi is being hugged too tightly by Tamaki Suoh, she calls out to Mori, and he rushes to her aid without hesitation. Upon lifting her off the ground, he realizes Haruhi is a girl and blushes. In episode 7, "SOS in the Jungle Pool!", when Mori heads into the forest to find Honey, Haruhi accompanies him. When she becomes frightened by the snakes and insects, Mori carries her. This is also the first time he addresses Haruhi by name, which pleases her. When they find Honey, he congratulates Mori for protecting Haruhi and asks if she felt lonely without him. Mori, his gaze fixed on Haruhi, replies that he wouldn't necessarily say that. Finally, in episode 10, "A Day in the Life of the Fujioka Family!", Mori gives Haruhi the strawberries from his own cake, which brings a joyful smile to her face, while Tamaki and the twins are plunged into despair. Haruhi is the only character, besides Honey, to whom Mori smiles more than once. It's also worth noting that in the Ouran High School Host Club manga, his profile mentions that, due to Mori's personality, there was a possibility that the two could develop romantic feelings.

Hikaru Hitachiin Hikasolo Hikaru is known to respect Mori and seeks his advice; in the manga, he stays at Mori's house two nights after he and Kaoru have a heated argument. Mori shows genuine concern for Hikaru's feelings, and when Hikaru comes to him the first night, he encourages him to acknowledge his own emotions.

Tamaki Suoh and Kyoya Ootori Kyoya and Tamaki Mori doesn't interact much with the Host Club President and Vice President. Most of the time, he's simply seen silently watching while Tamaki does something silly. However, Mori remains very obedient to Tamaki, probably for Honey's sake. Mori seems fine with the various Host Club costumes Tamaki chooses, and he doesn't mind Kyoya emphasizing his virility (apparently, his silence is his greatest asset). Although Mori isn't shown to have a close relationship with Tamaki or Kyoya, it can be inferred that he respects them, if not Tamaki, then at least Kyoya (though Mori still has a high opinion of Tamaki).

Ritsu Kasanoda Keep secrets Since Kasanoda has no friends, he goes to the Host Club and asks to become Mori's apprentice. The reason is that, although Mori has a somewhat intimidating appearance, just like him, he has many friends and admirers. In the manga, Kasanoda admires Mori so much that he grows flowers for him as a graduation gift and even calls him "older brother" during his university years.

Mitsukuni Haninozuka (also known as Honey, Hunny, or Hani, in Japanese: 埴之塚 光邦, Haninozuka Mitsukuni) is an older boy who is attractive to girls because of his childlike appearance and cuteness. Honey loves pretty things and indulges in sweets, cakes, and candies almost constantly; this, despite being smaller than average for his age and a martial arts champion. He is an incurable optimist with an innocent view of life that makes him seem more like an elementary school student than a junior in high school, in addition to being the oldest of all the Hosts. He is often seen perched on the shoulders of his best friend and cousin, Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka, and almost always carries his pink stuffed rabbit, Usa-chan, with him. When he speaks of positive things, flowers float around his head.

Personality saturated honey Although Honey often appears naive, he is actually quite intelligent and astute, able to realize that Tamaki Suoh, Hikaru Hitachiin, and Kaoru Hitachiin all have feelings for Haruhi Fujioka. Despite his generally positive nature, he is easily angered upon waking, and since his blood type is AB, most hosts believe he has a split personality (i.e., Dark/Kind Honey). As the oldest member of the club, Honey addresses his fellow hosts with the honorific suffix "-chan." He also acts as a mentor to the other hosts, especially Kaoru, and is eager to help others find their identity, just as Tamaki helped him find the courage to be himself. However, he doesn't believe in being overprotective of people, not even Mori, and typically doesn't offer advice unless asked. He adores his stuffed bunny, Usa-chan, as it was made especially for him by his late grandmother, and has an insatiable appetite for sweets and cakes, admitting that he eats three whole cakes for dessert every night after dinner.

Despite his childish hobbies, Honey is more mature than he appears. He has a great intuition for understanding other people's feelings and can often predict when someone has feelings for another person. He also tends to give good advice. An example of this is seen in the manga when he confronts Reiko Kanazuki, who has difficulty socializing and uses swear words to express herself. Honey tells her that if she wants people to like her, she should approach them. He is also seen advising Kaoru when Kaoru and Hikaru argue and when they both express their feelings for Haruhi.

Honey was born under the zodiac sign of Pisces. The positive traits of this sign are imagination, kindness, compassion, intuition, sensitivity, and altruism; the negative traits are escapism, idealism, weakness of character, hypersensitivity, pessimism, and indolence. Since he was born on February 29th, a leap day, Honey is considered a "leap year" and only celebrates his actual birthday once every four years, which means these qualities have less influence on his personality.

Honey has a childlike face and is extremely short; his actual height is 148 cm (4'10"), but he grows to 180 cm (5'11") in a 2011 omake in one of Haruhi's dreams. His hair is short and honey-blonde (unlike Tamaki's, whose hair is pale blonde). When not wearing his Ouran school uniform, he usually dresses simply in the anime, but extravagantly in the manga. Family The Haninozuka family The Haninozuka family has excelled in martial arts for generations, to the point that every member is a champion. When greeting each other, it's a tradition for family members to spar as a reminder to stay alert. It's worth noting that height isn't a significant factor in Haninozuka martial arts, as it's mentioned that "in the [Haninozuka] family, there are more short people than tall ones." Honey is said to be the greatest martial arts champion in Japan, and his skill is such that he's been instructed never to give his all in a public fight. The reason Tamaki gives in episode 18, "Down with Honey!", is that if he were to ever fight at full power, he would be seen as a secret weapon and would anger the United Nations, who would retaliate against all of Japan.

Yasuchika "Chika" Haninozuka Chika Yasuchika Haninozuka, affectionately nicknamed "Chika" in the anime, is Honey's younger brother and appears to be his polar opposite. Unlike his older brother, he is taller and has a strong aversion to sweets, cute things, and his brother's love for them. When Chika openly accuses his brother of being an alien who uses Usa-chan to communicate with a "mothership," he explains that this accusation stems from the fact that Honey eats three cakes for dessert every night and organizes a weekly midnight cake festival where anyone can eat as much as they want, which baffles his brother since Mitsukuni never seems to gain weight. Over time, it is revealed that Chika actually cares deeply for his older brother and has great respect for his martial arts skills, though he is still frustrated by his brother's loli-shota tendencies.

Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka Mistaken. Mori and Honey are not only cousins ​​but also best friends, their close bond comparable only to that of the Hitachiin twins. Honey is the only one who calls Mori by his given name instead of his nickname, and vice versa. Many generations before marriage united their families, the Morinozuka house served the Haninozuka house; thus, despite the marriage, the two remain inseparable. Mori is very protective and loyal to Honey, and Honey truly appreciates and values ​​Mori; he can often be seen perched on his shoulders, constantly interacting with him and even ruffling his hair from time to time. The loli boy, who had long wanted to accept this part of himself, is grateful and touched by Tamaki's acceptance, as is Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka. Honey is also the first to defend Tamaki from the Newspaper Club when they try to discredit him, believing he's using his family's influence over the other hosts. Honey says (paraphrasing), "Tama-chan would never do that. We all love Tamaki. That's why we're in the Host Club."

He and his older brother, Hikaru, first appear when Haruhi discovers the Host Club. Being in the same class as her, they compete with Tamaki Suoh for Haruhi's romantic attention. Kaoru is just as playful as his brother, but more perceptive and composed. He is also the first of the two to realize that their codependency must end so they can develop into independent and fulfilled individuals.

Kaorugrinos As members of the Host Club, Kaoru and Hikaru are the "Little Devil" type, being mischievous (though not malicious) and troublemakers. They are famous for their "Forbidden Brotherly Love" package, in which they perform incestuous twin pranks to entertain their female customers. Haruhi pays little attention to her clothing and seems uninterested in romance. She enjoys cooking and isn't easily frightened by things like insects or ghosts; however, her weakness is thunder, which leaves her paralyzed with fear. She has a weakness for seafood and has always wanted to try Ootoro (a type of tuna sushi; Haruhi confuses akemi with ootoro). And although she doesn't show it, she eventually develops strong feelings for Tamaki. Hikaru and Tamaki both fall in love with her, but Haruhi doesn't show much interest in Hikaru in that regard, and initially ignores him, but this gradually changes. Ryōji Fujioka is Haruhi's father, who works as a cross-dresser (okama) at a bar. Originally bisexual, he became a cross-dresser after his wife's death because he felt he could never love another woman. He is bad at saving money and constantly buys women's clothing for himself and Haruhi, wanting to see her dressed as a woman.

Haruhi's independence, evident from a young age, often causes her father great concern. He longs for her to share more about her life and to be able to do more for her, but she rarely allows it. Nevertheless, they maintain a good relationship, and Haruhi typically ends up taking care of him, as demonstrated when she wouldn't let him attend the parents' day at her school—not because she was embarrassed by him, but because she wanted him to stay home, resting and taking better care of himself.

There is a striking resemblance between Haruhi's father and Tamaki. Because of this, and Tamaki's obvious attraction to Haruhi, Ryōji has declared Tamaki his enemy and enjoys teasing him.

Kotoko Fujioka

Kotoko Fujioka is Haruhi's mother, who died when Haruhi was very young. She was a lawyer, and Haruhi inherited some of her traits and continues to be Haruhi's greatest inspiration. From Haruhi's and her father's memories, she was a loving and devoted person who always sought the well-being of her family. Ranka describes her as intelligent and beautiful. She was a fan of the Zuka Club at St. Lobelia Academy back in her day. When Kotoko and Ryouji met, she was 25 and he was 19, meaning there was a six-year age difference between them.
