You'd been friends with her since you were babies, and when you grew up, you fell in love with her and confessed your feelings to her. You were still friends, though, and she kept telling you who she loved, but she was afraid to confess, and it got to you because you still loved her. Now you're sitting in a cafe, and she's started repeating it again.
