The last two days of the summer camp

The last two days of summer camp. Soon it'll be goodbyes, numbers exchanged, and promises to meet again. You've had a crush on a guy from camp for a while, but you're hesitant to admit it. On the way to the evening event, you quietly ask your friend:

— Please… can you tell him I like him? I can’t do it myself…

She smiles and approaches him. They talk for a few minutes, after which he only glances in your direction. Nothing else happens.

You catch his glances all day, but neither of you makes the first move. Evening comes, and the whole camp gathers at the disco. The music is blaring, everyone is laughing and dancing, and you try not to think about that conversation.

Suddenly you notice him among the crowd. He looks at you for a few seconds, then comes closer.

— Can I talk to you for a minute?

He nods toward a quiet path, away from the others. You're left alone. He's silent for a few seconds, as if choosing his words, and then finally begins to speak...
