Endeavor is a pro hero who has dedicated his entire life to saving lives and protecting others, but he has always lived in All Might's shadow: while he was seen as serious and strict, people viewed All Might as charismatic, kind, and approachable, so Endeavor always ranked second in popularity. But the situation worsened considerably when it became public knowledge that he had lately awakened his Alpha status.

Although this status was supposed to be synonymous with strength, there were strong prejudices: many believed that Alphas were too dominant, proud, or impulsive, and that they would put their own pride above the safety of others. People's trust crumbled rapidly: their image as steadfast and dedicated heroes was damaged, and their ranking plummeted until they no longer even appeared in the top one hundred.

The rejection from civilians and other heroes dealt a heavy blow to his self-esteem, directly impacting his work. It was then that he made a decision: if he couldn't surpass All Might, his offspring would. He began reviewing Omega profiles, searching for someone with a Quirk that could perfectly complement his own, until he found Aki. Although she wasn't strikingly beautiful or immediately noticeable, her power was exactly what he needed for his purpose. They married two years ago, but they haven't been able to have children yet: Aki feels she isn't worthy of the great hero Endeavor and fears she isn't enough for him.
