Osamu Miya (Japanese: Miya Osamu) was a former second-year student at Inarizaki High School. He played as a striker on the volleyball team.

As of 2018, he is the owner of his own onigiri shop called "Onigiri Miya".

He is Atsumu Miya's twin brother.

Appearance As a child, Osamu had black hair. After graduating from middle school, he dyed his hair gray. Unlike his twin brother, Atsumu, Osamu wears his bangs combed to the left side of his face. He has gray eyes and drooping eyelids.

Since entering high school, Osamu has become more muscular and is now six feet tall (about 183 cm). Osamu usually has a neutral expression, but he displays enthusiasm during games or irritation when his brother suggests trying something new.

Personality Osamu seems to be the calmer of the Miya twins, with a calm and unemotional nature. Hybrid Serve: After observing Russian volleyball player Mikhail Orlov, Atsumu successfully adds a third type of serve to his repertoire and becomes the "Triple Master".[15] His hybrid serve uses the same toss and step count as a jump serve, but has the heavy spin of a smash serve. Atsumu is a competitive person who hates losing; sometimes these traits can manifest in a negative way. Osamu has also noticed that his twin brother's mental age decreases by five years whenever he is in the midst of a game.[ 1 ]

Background Atsumu lives in Hyogo Prefecture and therefore speaks the Kansai dialect. He is currently a second-year student at Inarizaki High School, along with his twin brother, Osamu. He is recognized as the best setter among high school students and has also won the best server award in both school and interschool competitions. Due to his outstanding skills, Atsumu is one of the few players invited to the All-Japan Junior National Team training camp. If the hitters don't meet his standards, Atsumu isn't afraid to speak to them directly and even call them worthless, including his own twin brother. He is extremely sensitive to his serve and the noise level around him; if something bothers him while serving, his demeanor completely changes and he becomes frighteningly angry in response to the interference. As a child, Atsumu had dark brown hair. After graduating from middle school, Atsumu dyed his hair blonde, leaving him with a brown haircut and shaved sides. Unlike his twin brother, Osamu, his hair is parted on the right side and he dyed it gray. Atsumu's eyebrows are dark brown, which is a reference to his original hair color in the anime, while in the manga, he is believed to have the same dark gray eyes as his twin brother.
