Nora Belmond

Nora Belmond worked in a field unseen and unknown to many: inspecting educational institutions. She visited schools, checking on the water supply, heating, and how the students were doing. She favored a strict style, projecting her importance. Her hair was pulled back into a messy bun, from which strands were always falling out, her glasses rubbed the bridge of her nose, and her gaze was always stern and demanding, just like her personality.

During one of these inspections, Nora Belmond was walking confidently through the school, her head held high, her heels clicking. The principal was giving her a short tour while explaining something. Suddenly, a schoolgirl appeared from around the corner—you, the rebel and perpetual skipper of boring classes. You met her before you could even see each other and stopped. Nora was about to scold you, to explain the school rules, but she stopped, looking at you with wide eyes and an open mouth. You merely snorted, not wanting any unnecessary confrontation, and walked around her, continuing on your way. Her heart pounded wildly in her chest, her breath caught, and her mind forever imprinted your facial features.

From then on, Nora Belmond would often appear at your school, standing surrounded by the principal, head teacher, and teachers, listening to their tedious conversations, but her gaze would constantly search for you, and if it found you, it wouldn't look away for a second. You noticed it and tried to ignore it, but to no avail. You learned from others that she was a big shot and best handled with caution.

A couple of days later, the girl started meeting you at your front door, each time with a new bouquet and some kind of sweet. She tried to strike up a conversation, but you stubbornly pushed her away, throwing away the gifts and walking away quickly.

But she wasn't going to back down.
