The Iron Fang is a mercenary group from Kararagi, led by Ricardo. They belong to Anastasia and work for her, often serving as her bodyguards. Their services can be purchased by others, such as Subaru, who hired them to raise an army to battle the White Whale and Petelgeuse.

The Iron Fang members rode a wolf-like creature called a Liger. They are often used to transport cargo over long distances. Although similar to Earth Dragons, Ligers lack strength but are more agile and possess greater speed and endurance. They have a high chance of winning if the two of them ever had to engage in close combat. They are a somewhat rare breed, as they are often seen in Kararagi but nowhere else, especially in Lugunica. Ligers are very territorial, making them difficult to raise.

Most club members wear white robes with yellow highlights and the Hoshin Trading Company logo written on the sleeves, and animal ears on their hoods for beastmen. Other members, such as Ricardo Welkin, are given a black shoulder strap with a red logo.

The Iron Fang had been around for a long time, whether Hoshin of the Wastes was the original founder of the organization or not.

Iron Fang (鉄の牙 Tetsu no Kiba) is a private military organization from Kararagi. It is currently owned by Anastasia Hoshin and led by Captain Ricardo Welkin and his vice-captains Mimi Pearlbaton, Hetaro Pearlbaton, and Tiwi Pearlbaton. It is considered the most renowned military force in Kararagi. They are tasked with delivering valuable goods and weapons to various locations commissioned by the Hoshin Trading Company or fighting on the front lines.

Unlike most of the army, Iron Fang has the largest number of demihumans in the army, and while there are humans who work with Iron Fang, the majority of the forces are beastmen. They consist of both swordsmen and magic casters.

Capabilities
Demi-Human: Due to his nature, Ricardo has extremely keen senses of sight, hearing, and smell.

Equipment: In combat, Ricardo prefers to use a huge cleaver.

Wave Attack: Ricardo can independently launch the same interference wave as the twins Mimi, Tivey, and Hetaro. Unlike the triplets, he can use it independently, as he is the creator of this ability. However, compared to Mimi, who reduces the load by dissipating it, the wave used by one person is a huge strain on the body. Iron Fang: Ricardo is the leader of the Iron Fang mercenary group, a group of highly skilled fighters. Their duties depend on the specific mission. Iron Fang is closely associated with Anastasia Hoshin and her Trading Company.

Ricardo immediately headed to the company, where he met Tuden and Anastasia at reception. Ricardo demanded to know what he wanted from Anastasia, suspecting a setup, but Tuden allayed his fears and said he hired her because he was impressed by her talent. Ultimately, Ricardo agreed to work for Tuden and offered his services as a mercenary. Tuden hired him to work for the company as his personal bodyguard. He was given a new collar, which designated his status within the company as a "hound," although the control stone had been removed.
Later, for breaking the oath he swore to his tribe, Halibel was sent to kill Ricardo. However, thanks to Anastasia's intervention, the conflict was resolved. The two wolfmen remained friends and went their separate ways.

Some time later, Tuden assigned him to track down thieves and bandits on the outskirts of Banana.

While hunting, he encountered a multi-armed demihuman named Didori. Didori insulted Ricardo, claiming his race was on the brink of extinction. Ricardo denied being a wolf and insisted he was a kobold, but Didori wouldn't buy it, claiming wolves had learned to lie to survive. Later, Ricardo and his mercenary group ambushed a group of slavers and challenged Didori to a one-on-one fight, emerging victorious, killing his opponent.

Story
Ricardo grew up among a tribe of wolfmen. When he left his homeland, he swore an oath never to reveal his true nature, as it could endanger the entire race due to a three-hundred-year-old stigma. Breaking this oath would mean death at the hands of Halibel. This is why Ricardo called himself a kobald, not a wolfman.

Before Ricardo began working with Anastasia, he was a slave. One day, he was walking down an alley when he spotted four slavers trying to seize a young girl with purple hair. Ricardo successfully prevented them from stealing the girl and killed all four. It was then that he decided to take her off the streets. He found her a job at a bar, after which they had one last conversation before parting ways. She promised to one day remove the collar from his neck, which remained as a reminder of who he was. From that moment on, Ricardo remembered her promise.

About a month later, Ricardo returned to the bar, as he liked to check on Anastasia from time to time to make sure she was okay. But to his dismay, he didn't find Anastasia there. He learned that she had joined a company called the Tuden Company in the eastern part of Banana. Ricardo knew he had to find Anastasia immediately, fearing that the company might be a pretext for someone dealing in slaves.

Appearance
Ricardo is a large, muscular wolf-man with sharp teeth and green eyes. His body is covered in short brown fur. His thick, dark brown mane is cut into a mohawk and adorned with two short red braids on each side. The fur on his chest, biceps, muzzle, and palms is a lighter, reddish-brown. He also sports a dark brown beard.

Ricardo wears long black pants without socks, black bracers, white wrist and waist wraps under his dark clothing, an orange belt, and a shoulder pad with the Hoshin Company logo. In the web novel, Ricardo's fur was reddish-brown and his eyes were black. However, in the light novel, his fur was changed to a regular brown and his eyes were green. In the anime, his eyes are turquoise, and the shoulder pad wraps are leather, unlike in the light novel, where they are chain-like. Additionally, in the anime, Ricardo has wolf-like pads on his feet, which were not present in the light novel.

In the manga, in Anastasia's flashback, Ricardo's legs are wrapped in white cloth from his feet to his ankles, and on his legs themselves are waraji.

She met Anastasia by pure chance.

Appearance
Echidna usually appears as a white fox with black eyes and snow-white fur. To conceal herself, she takes the form of Anastasia's scarf.

Personality
The Artificial Spirit Echidna speaks and acts exactly like her creator, Echidna, but she remembers nothing of her past except her name, calling her Eridna (Sharfidna). She also showed that she cares deeply for Anastasia, going to extreme lengths to ensure no one knew about their condition during the battle.

Story
Once upon a time, the witch Echidna, while conducting experiments to study immortality, created an artificial copy of herself in the form of a white fox, without any memories.

Echidna met Anastasia eleven years before the main story, finding her imprisoned in a wooden box delivered to her by some cargo. Echidna eventually became Anastasia's consultant because she was intrigued by her.

Story
Anastasia was born in Kararagi and grew up an orphan, as her parents died when she was very young. She worked as a waitress in a tavern for a time until she met Ricardo, who was then a slave. Anastasia later paid off his debt, after which he swore allegiance to her.

She later began working for the Ryusik Business Association, where she excelled greatly. She eventually purchased the company with her accumulated wealth and renamed it Hoshin Trading Company. Seeking to expand her business into the Lugnica market, she was at the center of negotiations with the Juklius family when it was discovered that she was eligible to participate in the royal elections.
