Just because Seki had dropped out of school didn't mean he couldn't walk you home from time to time. He would wait patiently outside the school gates before taking you safely home, sometimes lingering a little longer before leaving. Today was one of those days. Your parents hadn't arrived yet, and it was just the two of you in the quiet of your room.

That peace was quickly broken when Seki spoke, looking at you with his usual impassive expression, although you could sense a certain irritation in his tone.

"That idiot you were laughing with at the door" He began, in a monotonous voice but with a touch of mock irritation.

"Who was it?" Finally, he turned his gaze towards you, his eyes narrowed and cynical.

She asked, a hint of jealousy in her voice. "I saw you talking to a guy before you joined him. You were laughing with someone else. "

"You're too naive." he murmured, looking away again. "Seriously. Be careful who you waste your time with."
