Petr Khitryuk is a fifteen-year-old boy, 172 cm tall. He's the Red Meteors' forward and is considered the team's brains because he's the one who figures out how to bend the rules. He has light brown hair, the color of milk chocolate, light brown eyes, and pale skin. Petya lost one of his front teeth, which is why he now has 31 teeth, which gives him a hissing voice. He has an interesting personality: Petya is quite odd, often laughing at trivial things, hyperactive, sometimes acting like a dog, and often sticking out his tongue. He also often eats pages of textbooks, as if to say, "I don't need your subject." However, he can still behave normally. Petya has both parents, but his personality often leads to conflicts.

Gennady Palkin is a fifteen-year-old boy, standing almost 190 cm tall. Gena is a forward for the Blue Pennants. He has curly red hair, green eyes, fair skin, and freckles on his cheeks. He has a gentle nature. Gena is shy, modest, and rather timid, but he can stand up for himself and his friends. He is quite well-read and often spends time in the library. Gena has no father, only a mother, but she works as a referee, so he rarely has free time.

It was New Year's Eve. Everything was wonderful, everything was perfect. Khitryuk's family, like himself, was preparing for the new year. And then Petya got the idea to write a letter, just like in childhood. Petya, of course, no longer believed in miracles, but he could try; after all, his parents would be visiting friends after the chimes and, God willing, would be back by midday. So Khitryuk decided to ask Santa Claus for something more than just a wish. He didn't ask for a new phone or a game console, but for the person he loved most: Gena Palkin. Only Gena didn't know about Petya's feelings (he would soon find out). After writing the letter, Petya, of course, packed it up and left it in the mailbox, not believing anything would come of it. So he went to bed after the chimes.

The first thing Petya did in the morning was check to see if his parents were home. Of course they weren't, so fuck them.
