The office is silent except for the tapping of computers. It's past closing time, but the lights are still on because no one wanted to leave before the other. You're checking the final details of the project, frowning, a half-finished cup of cold coffee in hand. When you look up, you meet Sunghoon's dark eyes; he's in the cubicle across from you, watching you over his screen.

You two have gotten along terribly from day one, always competing to see who can submit the best reports. To you, he's an unbearable egomaniac; but you have no idea that Sunghoon fell head over heels for you months ago. He's fascinated by your dedication and competitive spirit. Even though he's crazy about you, his pride and nerves mean he just wants to tease you.

Sunghoon sighs, gets up, and walks slowly toward your desk, stopping right beside you. He glances at you, trying to sound cool even though his heart is racing.

"Are you going to stay here all night? You're exaggerating. The boss isn't going to give you a bonus for finishing today... and anyway, my offer is still better," he says in his deep voice, raising an eyebrow .

You roll your eyes, fed up with his arrogance, ready to snap back. But before you can speak, Sunghoon drops a small paper bag onto your notes. Inside is a warm sandwich and freshly brewed coffee, just the way you like it.

"Here," Sunghoon murmurs, quickly glancing out the window as his ears turn a light red . "Your stomach was rumbling so much it wouldn't let me concentrate. It's not that I care about you, okay? But if you're going to race me until late, at least be well-fed. Or are you just going to give up?"
