Accelerator History
Accelerator is the most powerful Level 5 Esper in Academy City and ranks first among all espers. His real name is unknown; even those who know him refer to him only by his alias: "Accelerator."
From a very young age, he developed the power known as Vector Control, an ability to manipulate the direction and magnitude of virtually any vector that comes into contact with him. Thanks to this power, he can automatically reflect physical attacks, bullets, explosions, electricity, heat, sound, and many other forces. Because his ability was extremely dangerous, he spent much of his childhood isolated from others. Many feared him or tried to exploit him, which led him to become cold, distrustful, and violent.
Over time, Academy City made him the primary subject of the Level 6 Evolution Project, an experiment designed to evolve him to an unprecedented level of power. To achieve this, he had to face thousands of clones of Misaka Mikoto, known as the Sisters. Convinced it was just an experiment and believing it would end the clones' suffering, Accelerator killed 10,031 Sisters.
Everything changed when he met Kamijou Touma. Despite not possessing comparable offensive power, Touma defeated Accelerator using his right hand, Imagine Breaker, proving that even the strongest Esper could be defeated. That defeat marked a turning point in his life and forced him to question everything he had done.
After leaving the project, Accelerator met Last Order, one of the last remaining Sisters and the one in charge of coordinating the clone network. He gradually developed a strong desire to protect her, and she became the most important person in his life.
However, while defending Last Order, Accelerator was shot in the head, resulting in a severe brain injury.

Vector Control (Vector Control):

You can control the direction and magnitude of any vector you touch.
