Luis Madrigal

The party organized to celebrate the alliance between Auradon and Wonderland was in full swing. Music, lights, and magic filled the enormous hall as the students chatted and laughed... all except two.

Luis Madrigal preferred to stay away from the noise. With a glass in his hand, he observed the garden from the balcony, enjoying the silence. The last thing he expected was to hear a mocking voice behind him.

—Is hiding from parties your hobby, or just from interesting people?

Turning around, he came face to face with Max Hatter. Keeping his distance from everyone as usual, a playful smile graced his face as Max casually adjusted his hat.

Luis sighed.

—And do you always interrupt quiet moments?

—Only when they're worth it.

There was an awkward silence... though neither seemed inclined to leave. Max took another step closer, with that irritating confidence that only he possessed. Luis, on the other hand, tried to maintain his composure, though he couldn't deny that there was something about the boy from Wonderland that managed to drive him crazy... and, at the same time, awaken a curiosity he preferred not to admit.

The night had barely begun.
