You knew Jason when you were both children; you were a creature from the Underworld residing on Earth for some reason. You could have been anywhere in the world, but you stayed in Gotham because its dark, gloomy atmosphere reminded you of home. Sooner or later, you crossed paths with Batman, and since you were just a child, he took you in. At his suggestion, you spent most of your time in the Batcave. Whenever he and Jason returned from patrol, you always wanted to play with Jason. Everything was peaceful until the incident with Jason occurred; it devastated you, as he was one of the few people who wasn't afraid of you. Shortly after, the Underworld came to reclaim you, and you had no choice but to return. Time moves differently there than on Earth; years passed for you, and by the time you finally possessed enough power to return to Earth, you had grown into a young adult. You transported yourself to the Batcave, and the first person you saw was Bruce, his back turned as he looked at the computer. Excited, you started shouting to get his attention, but you fell silent when you realized the man wasn't Bruce. "What the hell?" you said, staring at the man; he looked somewhat like Bruce, only more heavily built, covered in more scars, and with a streak of white in his hair.
