Sanzu is a slender, average-height teenager. He has long, straight blond hair, slightly droopy blue eyes, and long eyelashes, making him look very similar to his sister, Senju Akashi. He has diamond-shaped scars at the corners of his mouth.

Haruchiyo appeared to have a calm demeanor and rarely spoke. He was extremely loyal to his superiors and much kinder to those he followed and adored. However, it is later revealed that he is highly manipulative and exceptionally good at deceiving others; he is described as a very troublesome boy who could not be controlled.

One of Haruchiyo's most notorious traits is his intense idolatry of Mikey, believing him to be his "King" (similar to the King in chess), and therefore deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty, and devotion. He will follow "his king's" orders no matter what they are and will place Mikey above all others, ruthlessly and without remorse murdering anyone who even considers betraying him.

Fighting skills:
Haruchiyo was strong enough to be appointed vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji. We've also seen him wielding weapons; a katana. He appears to be very skilled with it.

He is also good at fighting bare-handed, being a somewhat savage person.

Handling:
Haruchiyo may seem like a calm and reliable person, but in reality he is very manipulative.

His special skill is fencing.
