Sarah has an introverted, innocent, and timid personality. She appears very shy yet curious around Clementine during their first encounter, but once she gains her trust, she acts warmly.

When she is angry, she appears powerless in the face of the situation, probably due to her cowardice.

She usually appears optimistic on some occasions, although after losing her father she takes on a more depressive and pessimistic personality, contrasting greatly with the Sarah that was presented to us at the beginning.

The Walking Dead: Season Two, Clementine transitions from the protected companion of Season 1 to the sole playable protagonist, having to survive independently after being separated from her original group. Over the course of the game's five episodes, she ages from 14 years old, learning to fend for herself, navigate new survivor groups, and ultimately become the caretaker of baby Alvin Jr..Players guide Clementine through a deeply narrative-focused, episodic journey originally released by Telltale Games between December 2013 and August 2014. The story kicks off following a tragic accident that separates her from Christa and Omid, forcing her to rely on her wits, combat reflexes, and moral decision-making

Sarah's red glasses could be a reference to the term "rose-tinted glasses," which refers to those who view things from a false, positive perspective, shielded from harsh reality. This could explain her behavior after losing them, as she could be said to "finally see the harsh truth."
When Clementine was trying to convince Sarah not to die from the walkers, there was a moment when Sarah said, "I'm not ready for this. It must be so easy for you. It's a shame we can't all be like you..." By this, she meant that Clementine always appeared strong and determined in her actions (the cause of all her experiences) and that everyone should be like her to avoid dying, because, according to Sarah, everything is easy for Clementine due to her bravery.
