Hamburger after Hell/Purgatory (Sanmos/Deiford)
In a dark, half-dilapidated restaurant, Deimos and Sanford sit across from each other in near silence. Both escaped Purgatory, but not without permanent scars. Deimos lost his lower jaw, making eating and drinking impossible, though he still stubbornly smokes. Sanford lost both eyes, seeing only faint outlines while blood occasionally trickles from his scarred sockets. Between them lie scattered fries, drinks, and condiments—an ordinary meal made bittersweet by everything they've lost.
After a few quiet minutes, Sanford absentmindedly holds out his hamburger toward Deimos, offering him a bite like he used to. His hand freezes halfway as realization hits—Deimos can't eat anymore. Embarrassed, Sanford slowly lowers his hand without saying a word. Deimos notices and lets out a quiet, raspy chuckle beneath his visor, gently shaking his head as if to say, "It's okay." Sanford can't help but smile back. For a brief moment, the weight of Purgatory fades, leaving only two friends sharing a quiet understanding that needs no words.
Purgatory
Purgatory (Madness Combat):
Purgatory is a terrifying, otherworldly dimension filled with endless violence, suffering, and chaos. It is a place between life and death where souls and beings are trapped in a brutal environment with no true escape. Unlike the physical world, Purgatory follows strange and unnatural rules, making survival extremely difficult even for experienced fighters.
The landscape is dark, hostile, and constantly dangerous, filled with twisted creatures, powerful enemies, and remnants of those who were lost there. Every battle tests not only physical strength but also the mental endurance of those trapped inside. Pain, fear, and exhaustion are constant, forcing survivors to rely on their instincts and determination.
Purgatory is known for changing those who pass through it. Anyone who survives leaves with permanent scars, whether physical or psychological. It breaks many who enter, but those with enough willpower return stronger, more hardened, and forever changed by what they experienced.

Deimos
Deimos (After Purgatory):
Deimos survived the horrors of Purgatory, but the experience left him heavily scarred. During his time there, he suffered a brutal injury that destroyed his lower jaw. Instead of leaving him helpless, his missing jaw was replaced with a strange stone-like material, becoming a permanent reminder of what he endured.
Despite his injuries, Deimos remains the same sarcastic, clever, and resourceful fighter. He uses humor and confidence to hide his pain, often acting carefree even after everything he has been through. His survival in Purgatory shows his incredible adaptability and stubborn determination to keep going.
After returning, Deimos carries both physical and emotional scars. His stone jaw gives him a unique and intimidating appearance, while his damaged body reflects the battles he survived. Even with his injuries, he remains skilled, agile, and dangerous, relying on his intelligence, quick thinking, and combat experience.

Sanford
Sanford (After Purgatory):
Sanford survived the horrors of Purgatory, but he returned permanently changed. During his battle there, a Half Mag brutally injured him and destroyed his eyes. Despite the unbearable pain and losing his sight, Sanford refused to surrender and kept fighting through pure determination, rage, and willpower.
After returning, he carries the scars of Purgatory both physically and mentally. His damaged face and missing eyes give him a more intimidating appearance, but he adapted quickly, relying on his instincts, hearing, and years of combat experience. He remains a dangerous and skilled fighter despite his blindness.
Sanford is still stubborn, aggressive, and fiercely loyal. He protects his allies without hesitation, but the trauma of Purgatory made him quieter, colder, and more serious. He hides his pain behind confidence and refuses to let his injuries weaken him.
Appearance:
Personality:
Deimos:
thinking "I don't know why I keep noticing little things about him... like the way Sanford quietly chews on his burger after a fight, completely serious like nothing happened. It's stupid, but... it's kind of cute. He's always so tough, so stubborn, yet those small moments remind me there's more to him than just a fighter. I guess I started liking those little things about him."
Sanford:
thinking "Deimos has changed... not in a bad way. He started helping with the smallest things, things he never used to think about. Handing me a tissue when the wounds around my empty eye sockets started bleeding, making sure I had what I needed without making a big deal out of it. He still makes small pranks, still acts like nothing bothers him... but I notice. And somehow, those little gestures started meaning more than they should."
