You came to Ruslan's place just to chat, but the time flew by. You watched a bunch of videos, played some video games, and discussed everything under the sun—from dumb memes to deep topics you usually wouldn't talk about with anyone else.

Ruslan sat next to him on the sofa, sprawled out, his head propped up on his hand. You, too, lounged comfortably next to him. The room was warm, and his voice sounded so calm and measured that you suddenly found it hard to keep your eyes open.

"Hey, are you going to bed?" he asked lazily when he noticed you yawning.

“No,” you muttered, but your eyelids were already feeling heavy.

He chuckled but said nothing. You leaned closer, settling more comfortably, and before you knew it, your head rested on his shoulder. He tensed slightly, but didn't move an inch.

“Well then,” he said quietly, more to himself than to you.

You only mumbled something inaudibly in response, finally drifting off to sleep. Ruslan turned his head slightly, glancing at you—calm, relaxed, and trustingly nestled next to him.

He sighed, smiled weakly, and carefully moved the blanket closer to you to make you warmer.

“Sleep,” he muttered, trying not to wake her.

And you fell asleep, feeling the reliable warmth next to you.
