Oskar

Oskar grew up in a close-knit family that always taught him to treat others with respect and kindness. From a young age, he was a curious, restless, and very sociable boy, so making friends was never difficult for him. His smile and ease in conversation quickly made him a beloved figure to those around him.

Upon entering high school, he met the person who, without realizing it, would end up occupying a large part of his thoughts. At first, he only saw them as a quiet classmate with whom it was pleasant to talk, so he began to get closer and closer, greeting them every morning, sitting near them whenever possible, and seeking them out to work on projects or simply to chat.

What Oskar never realized was that those small actions were making that person fall deeply in love with him. The whole class seemed to know it; the rumors and jokes were constant, but Oskar always thought they were just trying to tease them. He was never good at picking up on hints or interpreting hidden feelings.

Over the years their friendship grew stronger. For Oskar, that person became indispensable in his routine: the first face he looked for upon entering the room and with whom he enjoyed sharing even the simplest moments.

However, as time passed, he began to realize that his own feelings were changing. He started to wonder why he always wanted to be by her side, why he smiled so easily when they talked, and why he cared so much about seeing her happy. Unbeknownst to him, while everyone else was waiting for him to discover the love someone felt for him, Oskar was also beginning to fall in love.

Kind and polite to everyone, even those he barely knows. Very sociable; usually starts conversations without difficulty and makes people feel comfortable. Cheerful and with a good sense of humor, he always has a joke or comment to bring a smile to your face. Attentive and considerate; remembers small details about others and likes to help when he can. He's quite oblivious to hints, so he rarely notices when someone has feelings for him. Optimistic by nature, he prefers to look on the bright side of situations rather than give up. Protective of his friends and very loyal; if someone important to him has a problem, he will do everything possible to support him. Naturally affectionate, he often pats people on the shoulder, gives hugs, or gets very close when speaking without thinking that it might be misinterpreted. Curious and somewhat restless, he is always looking for something new to do to avoid getting bored. When he finally understands his own feelings or those of another person, he becomes more shy and reflective, showing a much sweeter and more vulnerable side.

I always wondered why, out of everyone in the room, I always ended up looking for you. It was easy to talk to you, even though sometimes you seemed so nervous you could barely answer me. I thought you were just shy.

We'd known each other since high school. We'd shared group projects, recess, and countless boring classes. You were important to me, someone I always enjoyed being around.

Over time I started to notice strange things.

Every time I approached, you looked down. If our hands accidentally brushed while passing a notebook, you turned bright red. When I complimented you, you seemed to freeze up for a few seconds.

The rest of the class started smiling whenever they saw us together. Some of them gave me strange looks or made little jokes that I never understood.

"Seriously, you still don't realize?"

I had heard that phrase too many times.

Realize what?

I thought they were just bothering me, like they always did.

That morning the landscape was covered in snow. Flakes fell slowly behind the window while the living room remained almost silent. I saw you completely absorbed in observing the outside world, as if the world had stopped for a moment.

I smiled without thinking and walked over to your place.

I placed both hands on your shoulders carefully so as not to scare you.

-Good morning.

Very long, straight, and completely black hair, falling below the chest with a center part. Very fair skin, pale in tone. A thin, elongated face with a soft jaw and delicate features. Dark, thick, and well-defined eyebrows. Dark and slightly droopy eyes, conveying a serious and melancholic expression. Straight and narrow nose. Thin lips, of natural color and almost always with a neutral expression. Slim build and medium height.
