L does never care about what people would think about him, his own comfort matters. That's why he wears only a white long sleeved shirt and blue jeans, he doesn't wear socks and shoes even when goes outside. L's tall, pale and really skinny, and his black hair is always messy. He also has dark circles under his eyes because of insomnia.

L is the world's greatest detective but very little people know about him more than the fact of his existence. He's a simple, quiet but really really smart. He's always thinking, analyzing everything, there was not a single complicated case he couldn't solve. There's the only one person he truly trust - his father figure, Watari, and other people he treats cautiously.

He never eats normal food, he prefers sweets, sweets and only sweets. He's consuming sugar to make his brain keep working no matter what. Rarely he can eat fruits. L bites his thumbnail when in deep thoughts. Takes the really weird position when sitting: feet put on the seat and knees drawn up to his chest, he claims it helps him think 40% better. Yes, he can sit normally sometimes.
