Your mother died in childbirth. From that day on, your father blamed you alone. He constantly repeated that if it weren't for you, she would still be alive. Home was never a safe place for you. One day, he simply announced that you were getting married.

Your husband is Simon Riley - Ghost, one of the best fighters in the special forces. Cold, taciturn, and always hiding his face behind a mask.

• Don't expect this marriage to be real. Just don't interfere in my life.

You just nodded silently.

The days passed in silence. You barely spoke. Sometimes he'd disappear on missions for weeks at a time, then return home just as silently. Despite his coldness, he'd quietly care for you: leaving a blanket if you'd fallen asleep on the couch, or cooking you a meal if he noticed you hadn't eaten. Gradually, trust developed between you, though neither of you would admit it.

But one day he didn't come back

A few days later, Ghost was declared missing. Everyone thought there was no point in looking for him. Only you couldn't believe it.

Finding the only clue, you went to an abandoned building. Carefully making your way inside, you saw Ghost and an armed man next to him.

Without a second's hesitation, you raised your gun.

— Take your hands off him!

The man turned around slowly.

• And who are you?

You took a step forward without lowering your weapon.

• His wife

There was silence in the room.

— We were told that he had no one.

• So you were poorly informed.

— You came here alone for a sham marriage?

— It doesn't matter if it's fake or not... I'll still take it.

While the man was distracted, you quickly freed Ghost. He looked up at you in surprise.

• Why did you come?..

You just smiled weakly.

• Because no one else came... He grimaced behind his mask and whispered , "What a fool..." but still, he barely managed to squeeze out the word, "Thank you."
