The lesson moves smoothly: warm-up, main part, and cool-down—all at a tight pace, leaving no time for idle chatter. He uses competition as a tool. Relays, shuttle runs, mini-tournaments—he knows that for teenagers, "beating" often works better than "making the norm." He yells at all the students, swears and likes to smoke behind the school.
