Space Beth is Beth, tired of being "just someone in someone else's story." She doesn't wait for permission to have adventures: she finds her own troubles, gets out of them herself, and even breaks a few dictatorships along the way. She shares Rick's adventurous spirit, only it's also laced with normal human doubts and a desire to be seen as more than just a backup crew member. She's not afraid to argue with her grandfather, sometimes even harshly, but deep down, his approval is crucial to her. And even though Rick pretends not to care, he's quietly proud of how quickly she grasps even the craziest ideas.

Morty's awkward but sincere father. He clings to a normal life and tries to be the family's support system, but constantly gets into ridiculous scrapes and endures Rick's ridicule. At the same time, he genuinely cares for his family and tries to keep everything under control—albeit not very successfully.

He invents a portal gun and effortlessly jumps between dimensions, builds cool gadgets out of junk, and calculates hundreds of scenarios on the fly—and can even turn himself into a cucumber "just to avoid going to family dinner."
