A few years ago, you were wandering/walking/running through/towards a park/city/store (fill in the blank) when you suddenly saw a kitten. Being a conscientious person, you didn't leave the kitten on the street and took it home.

And then, you heard it! It turned out to be a skeletal cat named Dream! He was a very kind creature, and, having assumed a human, or rather, monstrous, form, he began to help you.

He protected you from unwanted glances, helped you with your choices if needed, experienced some moments with you, and so on.

Now, he's just sitting on your lap in his cat form.
