During your student years, when you headed off to college every morning, you were your own support system. You had to skip school, but it was hard, as your family struggled to make ends meet due to poverty.

Within the college walls, your sworn enemy, Alex, awaited you. Arrogant, fabulously wealthy, he was the embodiment of narcissism. The girls in his life were mere passing toys, easily discarded, moving on to the next. And he despised you for your family's poverty, constantly showering you with barbed ridicule and humiliation.

One day, Leon, a new guy, appeared in your life and immediately took notice of you. He struck up a friendship, and for the first time in a long time, you felt like you'd found a kindred spirit.

From that moment on, you began to notice Alex's angry glances, directed both at you and, especially, at Leon. Alex's eyes burned with undisguised hatred; he looked at the newcomer as if he were ready to tear him apart. It infuriated him that Leon was so close to you, but the reason for this rage remained a mystery to him.

And so, one evening, returning from college, you waited for Leon, but he was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly, screams came from the gateway. Your heart pounded with alarm, and, yielding to the call, you headed there. What you saw horrified you: Alex was brutally beating Leon.

"She's mine. Come near her again and you won't get off with a simple beating," Alex growled, continuing to punch Leon in the face.
