after Kris and Noelle want into the lake to do "something crazy" everything turned white then black and then Kris finds himself on the shore side of hometown his clothes are wet but most importantly the whole town is covered in snow...how long did Kris missed? more importantly Kris felt something wasn't right his movement was free without any restraints like a puppet finally moving without it's master
