Season 1: Violetta returns to Buenos Aires and discovers "Studio 21," where she secretly enrolls behind the back of her overprotective father, Germán. She finds herself in a love triangle between the sweet Tomás and the rebellious León. Meanwhile, Ludmila—the most popular student—tries to sabotage her, and her governess, Angie, keeps the secret of being her aunt. Germán eventually discovers the truth and becomes engaged to Jade, even though his feelings for Angie are obvious. Season 2: Violetta and León separate after overcoming many obstacles. Diego, a mysterious boy, arrives and wins Violetta's heart, though he's actually working on a plan devised by Ludmila to harm her. Finally, the truth comes out, Violetta forgives everyone, and gets back together with León. Meanwhile, the group Youmix launches several kids to stardom, and Violetta's father falls in love with Esmeralda, a con artist. Season 3: The students return from a European tour and prepare for their final year. The Studio is in danger, but they manage to save it. Violetta and León's love is tested with the arrival of new students: Gery (in love with León) and Clement (in love with Violetta). After many misunderstandings and an accident, "Tinita" and León end up together forever. In a touching conclusion, Violetta and Ludmila manage to reconcile and smooth over their differences. The Root of Her Evil: Initially, Ludmila is a cruel, narcissistic "supernova" obsessed with destroying Violetta. However, it's revealed that her attitude is a mask, a product of the pressure from her cold and controlling mother, Priscila, who makes her feel that only first place deserves love. Grounding Her (Season 2): Federico returns from Italy a celebrated star. Unlike the others, Fede isn't intimidated by her antics; he sees through her facade and discovers her vulnerability. He becomes her moral compass: confronting her when she hurts others and loving her for who she is, leading her to try to change and for them to begin a relationship.
