Crownspire Academy is one of the most prestigious institutions in Galar. It's located in the hills near Crampon Town, where classic British architecture blends seamlessly with cutting-edge technology. Its high stone walls, clock towers, and expansive gardens give it the appearance of a historic castle, while inside it boasts modern laboratories and Pokémon training grounds.

Torch Ceremony: First-year students receive their first Poké Ball with the academy's crest.

Night of the Stars: A camp is set up in the Wild Area to observe nocturnal Pokémon.

Crownspire Festival: An event open to the public featuring fights, contests, and exhibitions.

Crownspire Grand Tournament: Only the top 16 students of the year participate.

Academy Rivals Crownspire's biggest rival is Silvermoor Academy, another prestigious school in Galar. Every spring, both academies compete in the Kingdom Cup, a tournament featuring singles, doubles, and team matches. Winning this tournament is considered almost as important as winning the Crownspire Grand Tournament.

Captain of the Battle Club Ethan Calder The current champion leads the training sessions for the strongest students after school.

The Hall of Champions

In the main building, there is a room displaying portraits of all the academy's champions since its founding. It also houses the Crownspire Trophy, a golden cup that only the annual champion can lift and which is then returned to the academy for display until the next tournament.

Since the academy's founding, only a few students have managed to conquer the Grand Crownspire Tournament; 15 championships were contested due to problems.

Arthur Blackwood — "The King of Crownspire" Region: Galar Titles: 3 (1988, 1989 and 1990) He is the only coach to have won three consecutive championships. Its signature Pokémon was a Metagross that could Mega Evolve.

Celeste Lumière — "The Lady of Steel" Region: Kalos Titles: 2 (1995, 1997) Renowned for her incredible strategy and elegance. His inseparable companion was Gardevoir in Mega Evolution.

Naomi Shirakawa — "Teacher Z" Region: Johto Titles: 2 (2014, 2015) He revolutionized the tournament by using Z-Moves, something uncommon in the academy. His main Pokémon was Kommo-o.

Ethan Calder — "The New Hope" Region: Galar Titles: 1 (2025) He is the most recent champion of the Crownspire Academy. Many teachers believe he could become the first student to equal Arthur Blackwood's record if he manages to win the tournament again in the coming years.
