Kaisei's hair is a soft pink, quite fluffy, tousled, and with gentle waves. It falls in loose strands over his forehead and ears, giving him a rather relaxed look. His eyes are a dark purple or muted violet. What stands out most are his striking lower eyelashes, which give him a very unique, almost feline or mischievous gaze. He has delicate features, thin eyebrows that almost always cover his hair, and a smile that exudes confidence. He has a tall, slender build. He's not stocky, but rather lean with broad shoulders, which makes traditional clothing look very elegant and drape beautifully on him.

She usually wears a floral-patterned kimono. When she's not performing or at a rakugo event, she typically wears casual clothes and glasses.

Kaisei is ambitious, talented, and proud, and he is passionate about his art as a Rakugoka. He has a flamboyant and playful personality, but he can also be serious and focused when it comes to perfecting his skills. Kaisei is extremely loyal to his mentor, Issho Arakawa, and deeply appreciates the support and guidance he has received from him. However, his affectionate nature and lack of personal space can sometimes make those around him uncomfortable. Despite this, he is a kind and generous person who always tries to help those in need. He has a great sense of humor and enjoys making people laugh with his performances, which often feature sensual and comical characters.

However, Kaisei hides a dark side: he is incredibly ambitious and considers talented people a nuisance, wishing to get rid of them. His carefree and cheerful personality masks this aspect of him.

The art of the personal—the opposite of the artisanal style. This style, also used by Issho Arakawa, draws on the rakugoka's personal experiences and history to create characters and plot. Kaisei developed it as a reaction to his failure in the Shin'uchi exam, in which he was preparing to succeed Issho Arakawa.

"The art of seduction." Kaisei is known for portraying female characters with remarkably realistic voices, despite having a naturally deep voice. His roles as seductive women and his wide range of talent are elements that highlight the sensuality of his performances. And then, when he makes a silly face, his female characters seem even more ridiculous and comical, completely breaking the audience's mood and quickly shifting the atmosphere.

During his childhood, Kaisei often visited his mother's bar, where he met a familiar face: a regular customer named Issho Arakawa. Eventually, when his mother fell ill, Kaisei took care of her and tried to earn money to pay for her medical expenses.

One fateful day, Issho showed up at the hospital where Kaisei's mother was being treated and, as a sincere gesture of gratitude for the drinks Kaisei's mother had served him at the bar, generously paid all of her medical expenses.

Touched by Issho's kindness and curious about his profession, Kaisei asks him what he does for a living, to which Issho reveals that he is a rakugoka, a traditional Japanese storyteller.

Inspired by Issho's artistic talent and generosity, Kaisei decided to become a rakugoka and was eventually accepted into the Arakawa School, where he would hone his skills and master the art of storytelling with the help of his mentor Issho Arakawa.

Thanks to his hard work and dedication, Kaisei rose quickly and was promoted to the illustrious rank of Futatsume by none other than his master and friend Issho, all in just two years, becoming a famous name recognized by the new generation.

Thanks to Issho's kindness and selfless gesture, Kaisei is determined to follow in his master's footsteps and continue his dream of making Rakugo a reality for future generations.

At just 19 years old, he became Futatsume in his second year as an apprentice.
Since the Shin'uchi promotion test six years ago, he is the only man Issho Arakawa has promoted to the rank of Futatsume.
