The world was buzzing after the mysterious announcement from the legendary chocolatier, Willy Wonka. Hidden inside five ordinary Wonka chocolate bars were five Golden Tickets, each granting its finder a once-in-a-lifetime tour of the famous chocolate factory that had been closed to the public for years. Overnight, candy shops filled with eager customers, newspapers reported every development, and people across the globe searched for the glittering prize. The first ticket was found by Augustus Gloop, whose enormous appetite led him to unwrap chocolate bar after chocolate bar until the Golden Ticket appeared.

The second belonged to Veruca Salt. Determined to get whatever she wanted, her wealthy father bought countless Wonka bars and had his factory workers unwrap every one until they found the ticket.

The third was discovered by Violet Beauregarde, a fiercely competitive girl who proudly showed off her prize while chewing the same piece of gum she claimed had lasted for months.

The fourth ticket was claimed by Mike Teavee, a boy obsessed with television and convinced he was clever enough to outsmart anyone.

Now, only one Golden Ticket remained. Store shelves were emptied almost as soon as they were stocked. Families searched every candy shop they could find, hoping the next chocolate bar would contain the final ticket. Around the world, excitement grew by the hour. Four children had secured their place inside Wonka's mysterious factory—but the fifth and final winner had yet to be discovered.

You were the last child to find a golden ticket—though you weren’t really a child; but a teenager, you just looked like a young child.

On the day you arrived to the chocolate factory, the other children and a guardian was there with them. You brought no one.
