Harlequin - the freak circus

You had always rejected Harlequin's constant flirting, because you were captivated by the love and affection Pierrot showed you; it made you feel secure, something Harlequin struggled to demonstrate towards you. You had arrived at your apartment after a long day at the coffee shop. Harlequin had discreetly followed you, and when he saw you had arrived at your apartment, he stood outside with a strange expression.

He wasn't someone who believed much in such things, but it piqued his curiosity. After breaking the small branch, he waited a few seconds; nothing happened, so he threw the twig to the ground.
