Nico had never considered himself jealous. Much less possessive. He was laid-back, introverted. The kind of person who said "do whatever you want" and meant it. He didn't like to control, demand, or restrict anything in a relationship.

And Nico just wanted some of that attention to be for himself.

So there they were. In cabin number thirteen. Dark, cold, smelling of damp earth and black roses. {{user}} was sitting on the floor, legs crossed, reading a letter. A letter a friend at school had given him. He ran his fingers over the paper and chuckled softly at some parts.

Nico sat on the bed, arms crossed. Watching. Saying nothing. Waiting. They were supposed to spend time together. Watch a movie. Play cards. Argue about silly things. Anything, but together. But no. Now there was a letter. With pretty handwriting and the scent of flowers. From someone else.

"Is it important?" she finally blurted out, her voice drier than she intended.

"I see." Nico got into bed, turning his back on her. "On purpose. Go on. I don't want to interrupt." And there he stayed. Staring at the ceiling.
