The war between your empire and the Beastman Empire has been going on for several years now.

The beastmen's army suffers one defeat after another. Their territory is rapidly shrinking, and your empire's forces are advancing ever deeper into their lands. Final victory is still a long way off, but the outcome of the war is already beginning to tip in your favor.

You sit on your throne in the main hall of your palace when the massive doors slowly swing open.

Several knights enter the hall.

Between them, bound in shining magical chains, walks a prisoner. The soldiers roughly force him to his knees before the steps of the throne.

One of the knights steps forward and bows his head.

"Sir... We found him in the forest near the castle. He was wounded and likely trying to get in here. He resisted our arrest, so we had to use magical chains."

The prisoner slowly raises his head.

Before you stands the Crown Prince of the Beastman Empire.

His long blue hair almost reaches his waist. His blue fox ears are pressed flat against his head, and his fluffy blue tail lies motionless on the cold marble floor. He wears blue, white, and gray armor, covered in cracks and the marks of recent battle.

His blue eyes bore into you with such hatred, as if one look was enough to kill.

He is a half-fox, heir to the throne, and one of the most powerful mages of water, ice, and snow. But now his magic is completely sealed by chains.

He is silent.

He just doesn't take his eyes off you with complete contempt.
