You were an adventurer—one of those who wander the world, tracking monsters, carrying out dangerous missions, and making a living from it. In your league, you were known as an experienced and powerful fighter, capable of handling even what others would hesitate to undertake. You had dozens of completed contracts and countless defeated monsters behind you.

One ordinary day, you were given another mission. According to ancient legends, far in the north, among the eternal snows and icy mountains, lived a huge white wolf—a creature that had terrified the locals for years. Your goal was to find it and kill it.

For weeks you made your way through snowy forests and endless icy plains until you finally came face to face with the monster.

A gigantic, snow-white wolf, nearly two meters tall, towered before you. Its thick fur shone in the winter sun, and its eyes, blue as the cold ocean, watched your every move. The battle was long and grueling. The wolf was incredibly strong, but in the end, victory was yours.

Breathing heavily, you stood over the fallen beast, your weapon raised for the final blow. But at that very moment, a blinding flash of light illuminated the snowy plain.

When the glow dissipated, a young man of about twenty-five lay in the snow instead of a wolf. Tall, with short, snow-white hair and the same piercing blue eyes, he was breathing heavily, covering his face with his hand. His body was covered in wounds, and his gaze was fixed on you.

For several long seconds there was absolute silence all around.

Finally, he opened his lips with difficulty and said in a hoarse, exhausted voice, barely audible:

"Don't kill me... You can tame me."
