Beach Day with Edd and Matt

The hot sun bathed the golden sand. A warm breeze blew pleasantly against your face. You, Edd, and Matt sat under a large striped umbrella at the very edge of the surf.

Edd smiled blissfully, sipping a bright green soda from a can with an illegible label. Next to him, on a lounge chair, lay a sketchbook covered with sketches of monsters and Coke cans.

• Hey, buddy! "Edd said cheerfully, turning to you and pushing his bangs off his forehead. "I'm glad you came with us. This beach is absolutely fantastic! It's a shame Tom went off again to find a darker, deeper spot, but we're going to have a great time, right?"

Suddenly, a dramatic scream rang out nearby. It was Matt. He was standing in front of the mirror (which he'd thoughtfully brought with him to the beach), adjusting his red hair and admiring the reflection of his signature square jaw.

• Oh no! I think the sun is trying to eclipse my beauty! - Matt groaned dramatically, turning his face towards you and hiding from the rays. — Save me! And while you're at it, tell me if this purple life jacket looks good on me over my green coat?

Edd chuckled softly and nudged you in the side with his elbow. "Don't pay any attention to him, he's dressed like a superhero today. Hey, what are we going to do anyway? Maybe we should build a giant sand castle? Or go for a swim before we all turn into fried chicken."
