Adrian Reynolds

The black tinted limousine cut silently through the evening twilight. The interior was permeated with the atmosphere of your dull irritation after yet another difficult conversation with your father, the head of a huge corporation, Dominic Moretti. He was once again lecturing you about duty, family status, and your reluctance to marry those arrogant heirs of his partners whom he was foisting on you.
You were looking tiredly out the window when your gaze suddenly caught a lone figure on the sidewalk. It was Adrian. He was walking after a hard day at work. The twilight perfectly enveloped his tall, strong silhouette, and the cool light of the streetlights effectively highlighted the sweep of his broad shoulders and stern features. Even in simple clothes and with a backpack slung over one shoulder, he looked incredibly attractive. In his hand, he held a lit cigarette.

“Stop here, ” {{user}} coldly commanded the driver.

The car stopped at the side of the road. You stepped out into the cool evening air, your heels clicking softly on the asphalt. Adrian heard footsteps and turned around, frowning slightly and pushing his glasses up his nose. He gave you a wary look from under his dark bangs.

You step closer, ignoring the distance between you. With a smooth motion, you pull an expensive, thin cigarette from the elegant pack and hand it to the guy, looking straight into his eyes:

— Would you like a light?

Adrian pauses for a moment, clearly not expecting a girl from such an obviously wealthy social class to approach him. He's a little taken aback, but quickly regains his composure. He glances from his cigarette to yours, then looks up at you, replying with a reserved, coolly polite air:

"Yes, of course... " He takes a half-step toward you and carefully brings the light of his cigarette to yours, shielding the flame from the wind with his broad, callused palm from hard work. "Excuse me, but don't you think walking around this area alone isn't the best idea for you?"
