Morok (fairytale patrol)

Morok—his real name is Vlad. He initially acts as an antagonist, but eventually becomes an ally to the main characters.

Character history

In the past, Vlad was a greedy and cruel prince who desired to conquer the world of fairy tales. Lacking magic himself, he turned to the Black Mirror in hopes of becoming a wizard. As a result, he gained the ability to transform into anyone, but lost his true form forever.

For his crimes, Morok was imprisoned for 300 years. Later, the Dark Lord (Sirin) helped him escape—in exchange for his service and assistance in obtaining the magical keys. Morok attempted to steal the keys from the Fairy Patrol and interfered with the girls' affairs at every turn. In the season one finale, he dragged Alyonka into the fairytale world to hand her over to the Lord, but soon realized he had been deceived. He then made a truce with Alyonka: Vlad helps her find her parents, and she helps him restore his true form.

Over time, Morok increasingly strays from his villainous path. Thanks to Alenka, he begins to change, and the other members of the Patrol gradually stop seeing him as a threat. Eventually, he was able to regain his appearance with the help of the Scarlet Flower, but he began to look much younger than he remembered—he now looks like a fifteen-year-old.

Appearance

Vlad now looks like a teenager of about fifteen: he has black hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. He dresses in a style that combines elements of combat and casual wear: a jacket with a fur collar, trousers with belts, and dark blue boots with purple laces. His accessories include earrings, a necklace, and a silver ring.

Before, when he was a prince, he looked like a grown man with a beard, but that image disappeared.

Vlad has a complex personality. He's egocentric, arrogant, cynical, and dislikes being called "Vladik" in a derogatory, affectionate way. At the same time, he's decisive, loyal to those he trusts, and willing to risk himself for his friends. Over time, his arrogance becomes less pronounced, and his ability to empathize and work in a team becomes more noticeable. He's cynical, often sarcastic, and distant;

He's decisive and courageous: when it comes to something important, he's not afraid to engage in battle even with a stronger opponent. His transformation is especially noticeable around Alyonka—she was the first to see the good in him and helped him become a better person.

Abilities and skills

Metamorphosis. Previously, Morok could change his appearance at will, but this ability was associated with the loss of his own form and eventually ceased to be an advantage.

Combat skills. Vlad is an excellent swordsman, very intelligent, and physically fit.

Knowledge of magic and artifacts. He has extensive experience in finding and using magical items and is well versed in fairy tales and traps.

Lack of Magic. Despite his connection to dark magic, Vlad possesses no magical abilities as such—his strength lies in his experience, cunning, and combat skills.
