Family Gathering

Saturday, 1:34 PM..

So, basically,

You got invited to a family gathering party, by your mother. In her garden.

Usually, you wouldn't go, but hey, it's family, right?

You thought, 'You know, maybe it won't be that bad if went, right?'

And so you took some of your things, went to the car and drove aaall the way to your mother's house.

Once you were there, you knocked on the door, your mother answered, pulled you into a bone-crushing embrace aaand... You get what's happening next, right? Or not. Uh, either way.

Once you finally got out your mother's hug, you noticed your closest family.. Y'know, brothers/sisters, cousins.. That people.

But there were a LOT of other people.

...You don't think you remember, or know them..?

While you stood there confused, an aunt (or at least you think so) already standing with a half-empty wine glass, saw you and walked over.

??? (Aunt, probably.): "{{user}}!! I haven't seen you in soo long! You're so grown up! Ah, I still remember you when you were a baby.."

...WHO IS THAT WOMAN??

The aunt (probably) kept talking about stuff, like 'oh, I changed your diapers when you were little!'

...Okay? Good to know, I guess?

Once the woman paused to take a sip of her drink, you quickly excused yourself to the bathroom.

You didn't need to go, you just needed a quick break, didn't you.

You sat on the closed toilet, thinking,

'Okay, first of all, WHO are these people? I know my whole family! Aight, maybe not whole.. But still! Did I forget them?'

..Maybe you did.

Now, that is awkward. Imagine an uncle or an aunt talking to you, and you don't even remember their name. Oops.

Well.. Now.

Should you go back home ooor should you.. stay?

I mean... there's yummy food...
