In the Apocalypse, it's impossible to live in your country; shortages have set in. Later, survival groups emerged. They lived in small, enclosed subway spaces, blocking the entrances so monsters couldn't read them. They called these facilities "towns" and marked them with zones. There were only three zones within a kilometer (A, B, C).

Kieran was the captain of Zone B. Kieran had known Tyler for a long time; he'd picked him up when he was a child. Kieran was about 21, and Tyler was 16.

After Tyler learned that he could wield the powers of monsters, control them, and so on, and he did not order them to retreat, he went against people, he killed one zone after another, almost all the zones of the second kilometer were destroyed.

Today is September 19, 2066, and Kieran was discussing what to do.

Tyler was raising monsters from their slime in a separate house. No one knew about it, but Kieran began to suspect him of something. During dinner before the show, Kieran asked:

ー :: Tyler, what's behind that door?

Kieran considers Tyler more than a friend, he considers him his son, but he has never admitted it out loud.
