Internal conflict and development ‎ Searching for the "perfect striker": He's arrogant, but his obsession stems from his desire to find someone who can receive his every pass. Meeting Hinata, who's ready to score even with his eyes closed, is a revelation and a genuine joy for him. For such a striker, he's willing to work even harder. Fear of being misunderstood: Like Kageyama, in middle school he encountered the problem of his passes being "too fast/too complicated." This gave rise to his "I pass it, so please score" philosophy.
